Thank you for your request for a scholarship to attend the 2012 Women's Congress for Future Generations. Funding for scholarships is limited. We (the congress planning team) seek to expand the diversity of the Congress with the voices of women of color, indigenous women, young people and artists. We see the scholarships as an investment that will help build a civil rights movement for future generations.

The scholarship selection process is based in part on the most compelling responses to these questions. We also compare and assess the scope of need in determining successful applicants. There are many applicants for aid.
