All students in the Spring-Ford Area School District who are currently studying either an orchestral string or band instrument have the option of participating in a 5-week private lesson program during the summer break.  Students currently active in either a strings or band program, or students who desire to start an instrument and those students who wish to learn an additional instrument are encouraged to participate.  The benefits of summer study are tremendous and private study will ensure continued musical growth throughout the summer months.  Student participants will receive one half-hour private lesson per week for up to five weeks at a cost of $19.00 per half hour lesson.  (Your child must be able to attend a minimum of three lessons.) Any missed lessons without notification to the teacher ahead of time will not be rescheduled.

This series of five weekly private lessons taught by the Spring-Ford instrumental teachers will begin on Tuesday, June 25, 2013 and will conclude on Thursday, July 25, 2013.  Tuesday-Thursday daytime lessons will be between 9am-5pm (with the last lesson ending at 5:30 pm). There will be no lessons on July 4^th, 2013; this make-up day will be Monday July 1st, 2013.  Lessons will be held in the 5/6 Grade center band room.
